Causes & Symptoms for Antipyrinum
- Antipyrinum has effect on the skin, causing scarlet rash and edema, consequent circumscribed patches of hyperemia and swelling.
- Profuse perspiration, dizziness, cyanosis
- Erythema appears first on face and arms, last on legs indicates Antipyrinum.
- In complaints of Enuresis, bed wetting and nose bleed Antipyrinum is useful.
- Unilateral twitching; contraction of muscles is relieved with Antipyrinum.
Mind and Head
Headache, with toothache, pain behind both ears of tearing character.
Nervous anxiety with loss of consciousness indicates Antipyrinum.
Eyes, ear, nose
Tingling burning in nose, with sneezing and running from eyes and nose
Puffiness of lids. Conjunctiva red and with lachrymation.
Headache under ears with earache.
Mouth and Throat
Toothache accompanied with headache.
Tight, constricted feeling in the throat is relieved with Antipyrinum.
Burning of mouth and gums. Ulceration of lips and tongue
Stomach and abdomen
Epigastric pain, causing to bend double and cry out.
Sensation of fullness and expansion rising from the stomach is an indication for this remedy.
Extremities
Swelling of the limbs with pain and stiffness of Joints with cramps is an indication of Antipyrinum.
Throbbing all over body, coldness of hands and feet.
Skin
Eruption thickest on body and extremities, eruption begins on face and arms, last on legs.
Side effects of Antipyrinum
There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

Dosage and rules while taking Antipyrinum
Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.
You can also medicate the globules and take 3 times a day or as prescribed by the physician.
